I am SO excited to share with you that I have been selected to try out Beachbody & Autumn Calabrese’s new nutrition program called the Gut Protocol before it’s released! I am one week into the program and I can’t share my full recap of my experience yet. However, I can share with you what the program is all about and why you might want to do the Gut Protocol when it comes out in March!
Test Group Details
I was awarded a spot in her exclusive test group by being an Elite, top Beachbody coach. 3 coaches on my team who I mentor also earned their spot in the coach test group for their early success as coaches through the Success Starter program. What is the Gut Protocol & 4 Weeks for Every Body


The 4 Week Gut Protocol is a nutrition program created to encourage overall gut health. Through the process of eliminating foods that most often cause gastric distress & observing how your body reacts, you may be able to identify & remove troublesome foods for you.
When you do the Gut Protocol, you will be provided with step by step instructional videos from Autumn Calabrese.
The 4 Week Gut Protocol videos will show you:
- Exactly what to eat
- How to remove 7 typically triggering foods so you can replace with other foods.
- How to isolate potentially problematic foods
The program includes weekly tips, food lists and recipes.
How is Gut Protocol Different From Portion Fix or 2B Mindset?
Unlike Portion Fix or 2B mindset, Beachbody’s other two nutrition programs, 4 Week Gut Protocol is not designed to be a lifestyle – instead it’s meant to be a tool that can help show you which foods you may been steer clear of going forward.
With that being said, I highly recommend that you “go all in” with gut protocol. This would be a program that you should take seriously so that you can truly see how your body reacts. Having “cheat meals” or “treat meals” during this 4 week period that contain foods not included in the program would just offset your progress.
Who Should Do 4 Week Gut Protocol
Anyone who has unknown food sensitives should do Gut Protocol. This program was created by Autumn as a result of her own journey through GI distress, which she is able to manage through diet.
If you experience gas, bloating, GI distress, you may want to do the Gut Protocol.
If you’re someone who is curious about the way food impacts your energy levels, digestion, sleep and more, you may want to do Gut Protocol.
This program is NOT designed to replace a regime you may have been prescribed by a doctor.
I personally have GI issues related to my running, specifically my long runs. My main goal for completing the program is to see if I can resolve those issues through diet. I also am excited to see how this way of eating affects my sleep, stress, and energy levels.
4 Weeks for Every Body
4 Weeks for Every Body is a non-impact 4 week fitness program created by Autumn Calabrese to compliment 4 Week Gut Protocol. It is NOT required to do the workouts with the nutrition program. This workout program was designed for the Gut Protocol but it can be done on its own.
4 Weeks for Every Body FAQ:
- 4 workouts week
- 30 minutes per workout
- Focus on eccentric movement to increase time under tension
- Non impact, purposeful and effective workouts for all levels
- Optional indoor cycling workouts to add on
When Does 4 Week Gut Protocol Come Out & How Do I Access It?
4 Week Gut Protocol will be available for purchase as early as March 15th. I will be hosting an intensive support accountability group using my experience with this program to help you through it.

You will want to go through the program with someone who has done it before! I am so excited to host a support group for those doing the Gut Protocol. This support group will include meal planning tips, recipes, meal plans, guidance and weekly videos from me. I will answer all your questions. It’s up to you to commit & go all in, but I will support you so that you stay on track.
If you are a runner, I will also provide guidance on how to make sure you are fueling your runs well while doing this program (running NOT required).
