My boyfriend and i had sex for the first time about three days ago. Although we had been fooling around we never actually had sex. he was my first and now ever since we had sex when im laying on my back with my legs up like bent at the knee they shake uncontrolabaly until i put them down but its only like my thigh area. Has anyone out there ever heard of this or been though this?

It's not unusual at all. It happens to guys too. It's pretty understandable when you think about it. People's legs shake whenever they're nervous or excited, and what's more exciting than sex? And what could make you more nervous than having sex for the first time? It's a big deal, isn't it? You don't know if you're going to enjoy it or not. You don't know if your partner is going to enjoy it or not. You might be worried about pregnancy (I hope you used protection.) or a whole host of relationship questions, so anyone who isn't both nervous and excited under those circumstances would be the one with the real problem, right? And when your legs start shaking, that just makes you more apprehensive, and your nervousness just feeds on itself. So if it happens again, just remember that there's nothing wrong with you, and try to focus on the reason why your legs are shaking: you're having sex! Isn't it great? ;-) Reply

During intercourse, I have found that when my significant other is penetrating my g-spot, my legs begin to shake uncontrollably. It is when I am having orgasms that my leg shakes uncontrollably and is brought on by both oral sex and intercourse. It feels wonderful because I am having orgasms. I would ask everyone reading this post to pay attention to your body and what is going on when your leg shakes. Is it because he is penetrating a certain spot? Are you having an orgasm? Are you very sexually aroused? Shaking does not happen all the time, but when it does, for me, it has been a wonderful feeling that provides me intense pleasure. Reply

I had a similar thing happen to me too! Me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time a couple days ago; and, when he put my legs on his shoulders they got all twitchy and I couldn't control it. The harder I tried to stop it, the worse it got. I don't know if it was because I was anxious or what, I just want to know if that's normal... I've noticed my legs getting twitchy before when he was, um down there, but didn't think much about it. I also noticed that while we were doing it, I got really really shaky. Especially when I was on top. I don't think it's from exertion because I'm pretty fit and it wasn't a weird position or anything awkward... It sounds like this isn't as uncommon as I thought... Any advice for stopping the shaking and twitching? Or at least a tip that will make it more manageable?

I never thought I would reveal this much on the internet, but I want advice and none of my friends would be willing to talk about this type of thing. Help?

I lost my virginity a few days ago and I experienced the same thing. My legs were shaking uncontrollably and I was confused on what it meant. The sex did feel good when they were shaking but since it was my first time I wasn’t sure if it was good or bad. And to be honest, I’ve never heard of legs shaking during sex for females. I did once but, for males. The experience was a little scary but now I’m prepared for the future. Reply
