Seriously. I find fishing completely impossible to do, for many reasons. The bar takes a very long time to speed up and slow down, so trying to catch up with any fish is impossible, unless the fish comes to a complete stop.Speaking of fish, i've seen fish shoot up in under 3 seconds, then shoot back down, then shoot up and down rapidly. How in the world are you supposted to catch something like that? Its impossible!Yes, this is a rant. Yes, i'm angry. I just spent 5 minutes trying to catch a fish rapidly moving, and lost it because it went up and down rapidly, and because of how SLOW the bar is, i lost it.Does it get any easier with leveling up? Leveling up your skill or by eating skill boosting food makes the yellow bar bigger, making it easier to deal with the spikes. The fish also follow certain patterns that you can recognize and use to your advantage. You unlock tackle and bait on the advanced fishing rods that give you additional skills and effects for taking on fish as well. It's a very good system, you just can't catch everything right away. Which makes sense in a game based around slow, methodical progression. #6 Shindria Profiel weergeven Berichten weergeven 12 mrt 2016 om 16:20 It does get easier as your fishing level increases and you can use better rods and/or tackle. Starting at the lake by the entrance to the mines seems to be a good way to go - the fish there *tend* to jump around less. In the wiki there's actually listed all the fish you can catch, and you can sort them by difficulty level if you really want to! =) But most people seem to say the lake is the easier place to start =)And for me personally, I find it easier to control using the xbox controller for fishing #7 Cordyceps Witch Profiel weergeven Berichten weergeven 12 mrt 2016 om 16:21 There's a mod if it's really too hard for you, but honestly the more you do it the easier it gets. I suck so bad at it I haven't gotten far enough to confirm this though.But if you're just looking for fish for certain quests, meals, or for the community center aquarium task, in lieu of fishing you can either:A) go every Friday and Sunday south of your farm in the area where Marnie's ranch and the Wizard's tower are, go to the left of the forest and find the ♥♥♥♥♥ carriage that usually has one or more fish/shellfish for sale, orB) check people's trash cans often. More often than you'd think you can find fish and even whole meals in the trashcans. I've completed several quests and am close to finishing the aquarium just buy doing these. However, the downside if you don't improve your fishing skill is that you miss out on things like, the recycling machine that can turn trash into usable resources. At first i thought damn, this is pretty hard but after getting a better pole and taking advantage of the tackle I find it pretty easy. The system here in Stardew Valley is both challenging and rewarding. However even with that said there are some issues that could be polished up a bit. I have noticed (albeit a rare occasion) that there are some fish that straight up can't be caught. NO, its not! Fishing is the first insane income you can archieve. I made on earlier Levels 1-2k each Day. Now it peaks up to 6-10k without refilling the Stamina Bar even after watering around 90 Crops each day.
