Cruisy C The flashlight is like an addiction once he sees it he's hooked for hours. Even if we shut the light off he will sniff around for it for ever. Its come to the point where any reflection or shadow will drive him nuts haha. Its really funny. He even knows the closet where we keep the flashlight so when we open it he goes crazy waiting to chase that light! #1 · Sep 21, 2010 The flashlight is like an addiction once he sees it he's hooked for hours. It's to the point where if she sees any shiny little thing, she thinks it's the stupid flashlight! Now, Duke on the other hand can care less. It's weird, isn't it??? #3 · Dec 6, 2010 Any stories with laser pointers? I actually bought one for Apollos welcome home basket. #4 · Dec 6, 2010 My dear oolk had an ''addiction'' to flashlights but not any and not in any ways either; Those small ones,plastic,unbreakable,1 AA battery. I used to just go for a walk at night and while walking, have him sit, show him the flashlight, flip the switch and put it in his mouth so only the very tip of the flashlight would come out of his jowls. He love that very much, looking left and right in the bushes. He never dropped it. #5 · Dec 6, 2010 We had a dog once that would go nuts over a flashlight or laser pointer. She would try to even climb the walls after it. We were always careful not to let the laser hit her in the eyes, I don't know if they are strong enough to cause damage to the eyes but we tend to be over protective :) #6 · Dec 6, 2010 (Edited) I have heard that it is not a good idea to let your dog chase lasers or any kind of light, check this out, looks like it's not a good idea to even use a flashlight. [Sorry guys i attached the wrong pic and don't know how to change it, god it's so big.] Are Laser Pointers Safe for Your Puppy Dog? Pooch Master: Never Play With A Laser Pointer!! Dogs and Laser Pointers: A Big No-No! Image #7 · Dec 6, 2010 I agree with Greg. I would not use one. There was an episode on the Dog Whisperer once with a dog that had played with a laser light one time and was obsessed with chasing light for years. #8 · Dec 27, 2010 Artie's mama was addicted to the flashlight, seriously an addiction. When it was out- she wouldn't take her eyes off it! Insert Quotes Post Reply
