Flint is a resource in ARK that is used to craft many items.
Flint can be obtained by harvesting rocks with a Pick, Ankylosaurus, or a Mantis. A hatchet will get you a little but is not as effective as using a Pick or Ankylosaurus.
To use a Mantis to farm Flint, equip the Mantis with a Pick in its tool slot.
