Description

HTS Flock HTV is the great way to add a soft texture surface to your craft project!  Flock materials create a non-shine look with a smooth faux suede look that hold their color with every design. Flock materials are easy to cut, weed and apply.  Flock materials come in a variety of colors.

Flock HTV Instructions for Heat Press Application

  • Create design and place your setting to mirror in your design space.
    • Tip: By mirroring your design you are flipping the placement so when you place the design down it is right side up.
  • Place color shiny side down on your mat. Dull side (no color) is facing up during cutting.
  • Cut design and weed vinyl.
  • Place item on the heat press and put your vinyl design in the area you want to press.
  • Place a cover sheet (Teflon paper or Parchment paper) over your design and press with medium pressure at 300°F – 315°F for 15 seconds.
  • Open press, allow design to cool and cold peel application sheet in 1 pull for best results.
  • Remove product from press.

Flock HTV Instruction for Hand Iron Application

  • Create design and place your setting to mirror in your design space.
    • Tip: By mirroring your design you are flipping the placement so when you place the design down it is right side up.
  • Place color shiny side down on your mat. Dull side (no color) is facing up during cutting.
  • Cut design and weed vinyl.
  • Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen pending the item you are pressing.
  • Place on flat hard surface (Iron board is not recommended).
  • To achieve best application press, don’t use the iron steam function.
  • Place a cover sheet (Teflon paper or Parchment paper) over your design and press iron with firm pressure straight down for 30 to 60 seconds (pending the design).
    • Tip: Don’t move iron slide to slide.
  • Allow design to cool for a few seconds and cold peel application sheet in 1 pull for best results.
    • Tip: If design lifts up during cold peel process, re-press design area with a cover sheet for 10 seconds.

Material Recommendations

  • All products should be polyester or cotton. Nylon materials will not work.
  • 100% Polyester
  • 100% Cotton
  • 50% cotton / 50% polyester

Care Instructions

  • For best care we suggest waiting 24 to 48 hours before washing your garment.
  • Suggest to turn item inside out and washing in cold water.
  • Suggest to dry on low setting or hang dry item for best care.
  • Suggest to stay away from using chlorine bleach.

HTS Recommendation for Project Tools

  • HTS Cooling Block is a great tool to make sure your press is fully cooled off and applied.
  • HTS Mini Tweedy or Tweedy Lites are a great help with weeding fine lines.
