The release of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is imminent, and Epic Games have confirmed the exact release date and server downtime schedule for the new content update.Epic began teasing the new season earlier this week, confirming that the name of Season 4 would be titled 'Paradise'. The exact theme of the new season is currently unknown, but the short teaser trailers and images revolve around everything being absorbed by chrome.As always with the new Fortnite seasons, there's going to be an extended period of server downtime before players can jump into all of the new content. What Time Does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Release?

The release date for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise is Sunday, September 18th, 2022. According to a recent Epic Games blog post, server downtime is expected to start at approximately 2AM ET / 7AM BST.

It's currently unknown exactly how long server downtime for Chapter 3 Season 4 will last, but servers are likely to be back up within 5 to 6 hours. During the planned server maintenance, Fortnite players will be prompted to download and install a brand-new patch. You'll need to ensure you've installed the new update before the end of the server downtime if you want to jump into the new content right away.

Unfortunately, as of writing, Epic Games haven't announced a new in-game live event to end the current season. When Chapter 3 Season 2 ended earlier this year, players were plunged into the 'Vibin' season with another epic battle in the 'Collision' live event.

Fans can still expect a plethora of new content in Season 4 though, with a brand new Battle Pass, Battle Royal Map, Skins, and plenty more.
