Now how did that get there?
By Nick SantangeloUpdated: Jul 8, 2018 5:25pm UTC101 commentsFortnite's expanding rifts from the recent rocket launch have apparently developed the ability to suck in-game items out and deposit them into the real world. Photographer Sela Shiloni was location scouting in the desert near Palmdale, Calif. yesterday and was surprised to see a giant cheeseburger with eyes and a lolling tongue out there.
What.... is this... I’m in the middle of the desert why is this here??? pic.twitter.com/oTMiGc0Wno

Shiloni, who tweeted that he's not a gamer, had no idea what he was looking at, and some Twitter users even accused him of photoshopping the burger. He later posted video of it, however, and fans on Reddit and elsewhere identified it as Fortnite's Durr Burger. In one video, Shiloni filmed a nearby sign reading "This site is unstable. Beware of possible effects." A separate Shiloni tweet shows another sign with "If you can read this you're in range of the anomaly" written on it.Shiloni's video also showed footage of what looks like a 1980s police car and a tent near the Durr Burger.

Curious, various Fortnite fans have since gone searching for the Durr Burger themselves. Games entertainment and esports group DooM Clan found it and were handed a business card by an unidentified man. On one side the card reads "Agent #3678," with the phone number 712-380-4091 written on it. IGN called the number and heard a garbled version of the Fornite sound effect from when an object is sucked through a rift.Twitter user A2K_Kilo was handed one of the business cards and got various photos of the man who's been handing them out. He also identified the precise location of the Durr Burger as 15160 E Ave S, Llano, CA 93544.What it all means is a bit of a mystery, but some fans are speculating that a desert-themed map is coming to Fortnite, possibly alongside a character skin mimicking the outfit worn by the man handing out the cards.Fortnite's Durr Burger was sucked through an in-game rift on Thursday. Season 5 begins July 12, and the Durr Burger incident has now added more credence to the theory that it will have some sort of Wild West theme.
