This immensely popular battle royale game has continuously brought updates that have mixed in new items and weapons as well as made modifications to the game world. In this update, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, players will find new NPCs and weapons, as well as a world lorded over by The Herald.

Where to Find Port-a-Bunkers

Fortunately, Port-a-Bunkers are only listed as uncommon on the rarity scale and aren't too challenging to track down in a game. These spawn in Chests, Rare Chests, as Floor Loot, and in Supply Drops. This means that scattered across the entire map in Fortnite, players will have numerous opportunities to open or pick up a Port-a-Bunker so long as they continuously open and unlock the chests they come across.

How to Use Port-a-Bunkers

As a utility item, the Port-a-Bunker is straightforward to use in this update to Fortnite. Selecting it on a player's inventory hotbar will place it in their character's hands. Hitting the button or trigger associated with aiming will bring up the location of where the item will be placed.

What will appear is a rough outline of the portable fortification that players can adjust. This outline will increase in height depending on the ground that it is currently situated on, and pulling the button or trigger associated with throwing/firing will toss the small cube that will turn into the defensive structure.

The Port-a-Bunker comes in a stack of two, and it consists of a ramp with three walls and a partially enclosed interior with a side door. The bunker will replace any structures that were formally in that same location and are two tiles long and two tiles wide. It cannot be edited, and once thrown, it cannot be moved. It functions as a quick battlement for those players who find themselves without cover and under fire. To counter, however, it is just as susceptible to the new Chrome Splash item in Fortnite that allows players to phase through things.
