After earning the Cube Queen skin in Fortnite, players will have the opportunity to unlock a couple of variant styles for it. One of those variants is the Obliterator style, and players that wish to obtain it will need to complete a series of quests first. Among those quests is one that instructs Fortnite fans to use a Shadow Stone or Flopper to phase for three seconds near a player, and this guide details exactly how to get it done.

Fortnite: Where to Find a Flopper

Players that would like to complete this challenge by using a Flopper should direct their attention to the body of water that is between Sludgy Swamp and Lazy Lake. There is a bus parked on the bank at the northwest corner of this lake, and players can grab a fishing rod from a barrel that is just next to that vehicle. Fans should then repeatedly cast their lines into the lake’s fishing spots until they ultimately catch a Shadow Flopper in Fortnite.

Fortnite: Where to Find a Shadow Stone

For those fans that would prefer to use a Shadow Stone for the quest, these purple cubes appear quite frequently near alien crash sites. While there are several of these sites scattered across Fortnite’s map, players that are looking for a specific recommendation are advised to visit the one that is between Misty Meadows and Lazy Lake. Indeed, Shadow Stones appear in relative abundance near that downed UFO, and fans should stumble across one after only a bit of searching.

Fortnite: How to Phase for 3 Seconds Near a Player

If a player opted to catch a Shadow Flopper, the next step toward completing the challenge is to locate an opponent. When that has been done, Fortnite fans should use the fish from within their inventories to receive a Shadow Stone and assume Shadow Form. Players should then get very close to the previously-located opponent and press the fire button repeatedly to use the Phase ability until the task has been marked as complete.

For fans that have instead gone straight for a Shadow Stone at the aforementioned alien crash site, they should move quickly toward either Misty Meadows or Lazy Lake. Upon arrival, players should look for a foe and again press the fire button to use Phase near them. Notably, it is recommended that players perform these actions “quickly” because they have only 45 seconds in Shadow Form after one of Fortnite's Shadow Stones has been picked up.
