I actually see that Jenson's carry them as well. Thanks for your help! I think they say every 6-20 hours of riding you should refresh the o-rings... what does everyone think of this? #4 · May 23, 2012 I think 6 hours is ridiculous, and 20 hours is on the low end. Depending on how much you ride, I think 50 hours is plenty. Actually when you rebuild, you'll still have a couple cc's of float fluid left in the pack. At about 20 hours, put the remainder in the air chamber. I think a big part of why those seals fail is that the fluid eventually dries up and the seals don't slide smoothly. Every time I've rebuilt mine, there is no more float fluid in the chamber. #5 · May 24, 2012 Yea, it does seem a bit excessive. I ride about twice a week, 2 hours a ride (4 hours a week). I think I have about 45 hours on my bike this season... maybe after the next few rides I'll tear into it. I bought that $14 kit on Jenson's btw (grabbed a bunch of other clearance stuff to... why not ;) #6 · May 24, 2012 Float RP23 Rebuild - YouTube super easy. #7 · Jul 9, 2012 anyone have a link where o can buy this rebuild kit?? cant find it anywhere #8 · Jul 9, 2012 Universal Cycles -- Fox Racing Shox Float Air Sleeve Rebuild Kit #9 · Jul 10, 2012 Thats a decent price too. 0 Reply Insert Quotes Post Reply
