Fracture: Tenrai Event

According to Halo Waypoint, a Fracture is a divergent Halo universe or timeline. Each one of this can share a variety of elements in common with core canon, but recast in a different light or interpreted in a new way.

On this opportunity, the first Fracture is called Tenrai because it presents a timeline in which suits of Yoroi exist. These are forged using "ancient karakuri arts from the raw energies of the land" — all of these suits were hand-crafted for young samurai in order to defend their clan and lands from Covenant invaders.

Fracture: Tenrai New Mode — Slayer Fiesta

Halo Infinite (4).png

The first in a series of free events has arrived. Fracture: Tenrai offers a new Slayer alternative called "Fiesta". In this mode, you will fight the classic Team Deathmatch but with a variant: everyone spawns with random weapons and pieces of equipment.

On the other hand, the maps won't have Weapons or Equipment Dispensers. You won't be able to grab any other gear than the one your allies or enemies drop. However, each location will still count with its regular vehicles.

Fracture: Tenrai Playlist

You will be able to play Slayer Fiesta on the following maps:

  • Recharge
  • Streets
  • Live Fire
  • Behemoth
  • Bazaar
  • Launch Site
  • Aquarius

Fracture: Tenrai Event Schedule

Battle Pass.png

The event will last a total of three weeks but divided into three months. This means that you can start playing and gaining rewards right away or wait until January to start playing. The progress you made will carry over, so you don't have to complete all the levels in only one week.

Below is the event's schedule:

  • Week 1: November 23rd, 2021 - November 29th, 2021.
  • Week 2: January 4th, 2022 - January 10th, 2022.
  • Week 3: February 1st, 2022 - February 7th, 2022.

How to Unlock Fracture: Tenrai Rewards

Challenges (1).png

In order to obtain the Fracture Battle Pass rewards, you will have to complete specific Fracture challenges. Each Challenge will give you a whole level, so you have to complete 30 challenges to get all the rewards. However, bear in mind that these have to be event challenges — they have an orange flag with a star in the middle. These are mixed in with your regular challenges.

These are some of the challenges already spotted:

  • Two Awakenings — Earn Double Kills in Fiesta [0/1] (300 XP).
  • Two Awakenings — Earn Double Kills in Fiesta PvP [0/5] (350 XP).
  • Disappear Like Dew — Kill Enemy Spartans with a Headshot in Fiesta PvP [0/5] (350 XP).
  • Autumn Wind of Eve — Complete Fiesta Matches [0/2] (300 XP).
  • A Life Unflowered — Kill Enemy Spartans in Fiesta Matches [0/10] (300 XP).
  • A Life Unflowered — Kill Enemy Spartans in Fiesta PvP Matches [0/20] (350 XP).
  • Cut Vacuity in Twain — Earn a Killing Spree in Fiesta PvP [0/1] (350 XP).
The experience points that you gain by completing these objectives will go to your main Battle Pass activated — in this case, Season 1: Heroes of Reach Battle Pass. Beware of using a Challenge Swap to obtain a new event challenge. This is random and it could give you a regular challenge. Also, you might end up having only normal weekly objectives instead of the event ones. You'll have to complete or swap those and wait for the challenge you need.

Fracture: Tenrai Battle Pass

There is a total of 30 levels in this event's Battle Pass, each one of them with a free reward. The rewards include backdrops, consumables, nameplates, armor cores — such as the Legendary Armor Core "Yoroi" —, emblems, and more. You don't need to pay anything to access this Battle Pass.
