That's what he means, he's not finding freighter salvage modules in the crashed freighters. I'm not either, that's why I'm here. I've been to multiple crashed freighter sites, dug up all the drop pods, and not a single bit of salvage for freighter upgrades. I heard the only other way to get them is by attacking other freighters but I haven't tried that yet. #3 Jerry View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:26am Freighter crash sites, freighter missions and attacking freighters CAN give you some. It's random and likely rare to get. I only ever gotten one from a mission and you need like 300 or more for the upgrades. #4 Sparhawk122 View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:30am

Same issue here. With more then 50 hours... #5 japp_02 View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:32am In Visions you needed to kill sentinel ships in space to get those upgrades directly. Maybe now you get these Freighter Module Upgrades when doing this? Just an idea. Last edited by japp_02; 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:33am #6 Dhanor View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:33am

'Walkers' are not in space, I mean the sentinel SHIPS. Last edited by japp_02; 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:38am #8 Dhanor View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:42am

2 ways to spawn them: attack any non-pirate ship in space or freighter, frigates. Or: make some havok on the planet and when the alert level is red, fly to space, you will meet sentinel ships. Good luck!Tell us what you get when shooting down such ships. Last edited by japp_02; 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:47am #10 I am Goot View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:53am

Annoy some sentinels on a planet..... wait for the reinforcements to start getting multiples.... Jump into your starship and head into orbit... the sentinels follow you into orbit, but with starships of their own... expect a relentless battle.Have plenty of sodium for your shields, you'll need it. They can come at you in high numbers, Make sure your ship is fully fuelled, as from my experience, they just keep on coming, so you have to outrun them in normal space without pulse drive to get away, when you've had enough or got your fill. #11 pryt View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:58am

It's not THAT bad, you only get wrecked and swarmed almost instantly when you attack a space station, the 'normal' fight in waves up to the huge capital ship (which sadly cannot be destroyed), is quite easy, just don't go into that fight without at least some A or better S-Class ship upgrades for weapons and defence. #12 grogez View Profile View Posts 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:37pm The easy way to collect Freighter Salvage Modules is to attack freighters and blow up their cargo pods. Some freighters may have 4 or 5 pods. Others have 40.The update today has changed the number of modules required for the freighter warp drive upgrades. The first one requires 4 modules (reduced from 200 !!), the second requires 8 modules and the third requires 12 modules.I have collected 134 modules from attacking freighters. My best haul from one system is 13 modules - gained from attacking 7 freighters. Ez profit. #14 < > Showing 1-14 of 14 comments Per page: 1530 50 No Man's Sky > General Discussion > Topic Details Date Posted: 30 Aug, 2019 @ 7:05amPosts: 14 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
