Buying
What happens if my offer is accepted?Once an offer is submittted, the Seller will have the option to accept, decline, or counter the offer. An offer, or counter-offer, will expire if no action is taken within 72 hours of when it is placed. The negotiation will continue until the original offer is accepted by the Seller or any subsequent counter-offer is accepted either by Buyer or Seller.
Below are the steps that follow once an offer or counter-offer is accepted:
- A PSL Source agent will contact both Buyer and Seller to verify account standing & secure contracts.
- The full purchase amount will be secured from the Buyer.
- PSL Source will request, or will assist in the request, of the necessary PSL transfer forms from the Team.
- If the team transfer period is open, PSL Source will begin the execution of the transfer.
- If the team transfer period is not open, PSL Source will hold the Buyer’s payment in trust until the transfer period opens again. At that time, the transfer will be executed.
- Finally, the appropriate paperwork will be issued to the new owner, and funds will be released to the Seller
Unless otherwise noted in the listing details, the rights to purchase any potential home playoff tickets will be granted to the Buyer on all listings with accepted offers prior to November 1st. For offers accepted after November 1st, playoff rights may be available to the PSL Buyer, but are not guaranteed.
Are parking rights included with PSLs?Listings that have parking passes available along with the PSLs will list parking under the "Seat Features." If a listing does not mention parking, then parking is not included. PSL Source does have parking passes available for sale. For more information on stadium lots and prices, visit Buy NFL Parking Passes.
Can I buy the PSLs in both mine and my wife’s or business partners name?PSLs may only be put in one name.
Can I buy PSLs year-round, even if the transfer period is closed?Yes, you can purchase PSLs year-round from PSL Source. If the transfer period is closed for the Team you are looking to own seats with, we will facilitate the handling of the tickets during the season, and faciliate the transfer during the next open transfer period.
What additional Buyer fees do you charge?PSL Source charges no additional Buyer fees. The Buyer is responsible for the final negotiated sales price, the transfer fee due to the Team, and the team invoice cost of any available tickets (marked in the Ticket Availabilty section of the listing).
Can I buy seats in my company’s name?Yes, PSLs may be company owned. An officer of the company needs to be designated as the account contact and documentation showing that officers affiliation with the company is generally required in order to transfer seats into or out of a company’s name.
General
When is the Transfer Period?
Teams usually set specific windows for processing transfers in order to finalize changes before season ticket invoices and/or play-off ticket invoices are issued. PSL Source’s transaction process coincides with each Team’s particular transfer periods and protocol.
When the Transfer Period is open
Should a PSL Source negotiation be completed while a Team’s transfer period is open, then the following will occur:
- Secure contracts between Buyer and Seller
- Secure & hold Buyer’s funds in trust until the transfer is executed
- Execute the transfer with the Team
- Release the balance due to the Seller
When the Transfer Period is closed
Should a PSL Source negotiation be completed and fall outside of a Team’s transfer period, then the following will occur:
- Secure contracts between Buyer and Seller
- Secure & hold Buyer’s funds in trust until the next transfer period
- Execute the transfer with the Team
- Release the balance due to the Seller

What is the difference between a PSL, CSL, COA, SBL, and Seat Option?PSL, CSL, COA, SBL, and Seat Option all mean the same thing; they are a Seat License for a NFL team's stadium. PSL is the standard acronym and is used most all NFL teams. PSL is short for either Permanent Seat License or Personal Seat License. CSL stands for Charter Seat License, and is used solely by the Seattle Seahawks. COA stands for Charter Ownership Agreement, and is used solely by the Cincinnati Bengals. SBL stands for Stadium Builder's License, and is used by the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Dallas Cowboys use PSL and Seat Options interchangeably.
What is your return policy? All sales with PSL Source are FINAL.
What is a PSL?A PSL, or Personal Seat Licenses, is a one-time fee that allows the PSL owner the right to purchase season tickets for a specific seat every season for the life of the stadium or expiration of the license agreement.
Can I buy seats in my company’s name?Yes, PSLs may be company owned. An officer of the company needs to be designated as the account contact and documentation showing that officers affiliation with the company is generally required in order to transfer seats into or out of a company’s name.

What is PSL Source’s commission?Once you have negotiated a final sales price with a Buyer, PSL Source will facilitate the transfer of your seat licenses from start to finish. Our commission is 10% ($250 minimum) of the final PSL sales price. This will be deducted from your final PSL Payout.
How do I remove my listing from the website? You can remove your listing from the website by following these four steps:
- Click the Account Center tab in the top right corner of the website
- Click 'Selling Activity' tab, while logged into you account
- Locate your listing
- Click the "Manage" button located under the "Actions" header
- Click "Unpublish" from the drop down menu if you are sure you want to unpublish the listing.
