Orajel™ Baby & Kids FAQs

What is the difference between Orajel products marked Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3?

We have created a stage system to help you better understand what products are right for your child at every age. Stage 1 is for ages 0+ and focuses on teething and tooth & gum care before and as those baby teeth emerge. Stage 2 is for ages 0–3 and offers fluoride-free products to help your child learn how to brush in a safe and effective manner. Stage 3 is for ages 2–10 when children are ready for independent brushing with fluoride toothpaste.
