If you want to add extra crunch, sprinkle pebbles over the top once you have transferred them to the pan. Then, while they are still warm, gently press the dry pebbles into the top. You can actually up the crunch factor quite a bit, but once they cool down you need to keep them someplace nice and dry. I also find you need to adjust the recipe based on the humidity in your area, so you're better off not adding all the pebbles at once. Instead, start with about 3/4, then add until you get the right consistency. icons / ellipsis / ellipsis-horizontal Mel B. Reply 1 -
Nice, simple, easy recipe. The treats turned out amazing in both the rice crispie and fruity pebble formats. Big hit! icons / ellipsis / ellipsis-horizontal Travis H. Reply 1

This was fun for my 6-yr-old to make on his own! We used 4 cups of Fruity Pebbles because that was all we had left, and they turned out perfect! I'm not sure I would use 6 cups. Thanks for sharing! icons / ellipsis / ellipsis-horizontal Lucky Clover Reply 1

Why use store-bought marshmallows when you can make a 7-minute frosting and add Fruity Pebbles and let it cool for yummy... truly home made... rice cerealtreats icons / ellipsis / ellipsis-horizontal ddean1257 Reply See 2 Replies -
You can use half of a marshmallow packet and a container of marshmallow fluff instead and first melt the marshmallows only 2 minuets and then add the marshmallow fluff and continue with the recipe icons / ellipsis / ellipsis-horizontal Everything B. Reply -
