The G18 pistol is a select-fire fully automatic pistol. GLOCK Ges.m.b.H. and GLOCK Inc. do not sell G18 pistols to the U.S. commercial market due to legal regulations applicable to fully automatic firearms. The select-fire G18 pistol is only available to law enforcement agencies and the military. Safe Action® System

Three safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically reengage when the trigger is released.

Polymer frame

The durable and lightweight polymer frame absorbs recoil due to the dampening characteristics of the polymer.

Polygonal barrel profile

The polygonal barrel is easy to clean and its better bullet to barrel fit increases the velocity of the projectile.

Magazine capacity

The G18 and G18C come with 17+2 rounds magazines with extended floor plate. High capacity magazines up to 33 rounds are available.

Surface refinement

The surface of the GLOCK slide and barrel is black and non reflective. All GLOCK metal parts are subject to a surface treatment making them corrosion and salt water resistant.

Mounting rail

Mounting rails in front of the trigger of all competition, standard and compact frames as well as on G29 and G30 allow mounting accessories such as tactical lights and lasers.

Textured frame

The textured frame has finger grooves and recessed thumb rest to enhance grip traction.

Loaded chamber indicator

A visible and palpable indicator is located on the extractor.
