Fully pasture-raised geese, from egg to harvest.

These geese are bred, hatched, raised, and hand-processed on the Mackenzie family’s fifth-generation farm in Gippsland, Victoria. The Mackenzies steward their birds through every stage of life — from naturally laid eggs to plump, richly flavoured geese — with care and respect. Raised entirely on chemical-free pasture, without antibiotics or hormones, these birds are truly free-ranging, and processed by hand on-farm to ensure quality, welfare, and provenance.

Geese are seasonal, and at their peak in winter. Seasonal geese grow to their natural size over around 6 months, meaning a 4-5kg goose (around the maximum weight) peaks at around May/June, in season.
