6 Nov, 2015 @ 11:58am Ah, will be a long painful wait, that. But hopefully that will be plenty of time for them to release a good solid first pass of the tool set. If memory serves me right, there was a similar delay for the tool set with FO3 and New Vegas , perhaps not so long but a delay was there. It should not stop texture mods/ armor- clothing swap mods from showing up beforethe tool set arrives. Simple ones anyway. Any bets on how soon after release the first such mods show up on Nexus? #2

26 Jan, 2016 @ 3:33pm It would make sense for Bethesda to release the first dlc before they release the geck right? Because if the geck releases first, it will cut in on the number of people willing to pay for the dlc right? #4

26 Jan, 2016 @ 6:59pm I wouldn't hold your breath... I'm sure Bethesda is focusing on there mod website first and foremost so they don't bumble the promise they made to console kids. #6

They have a solid fan base on PC and they need to tend to this garden before they go rooting around in the low end gardens! #7

The mods are coming to console, but the modding capability is not. you will need the PC version of Fallout 4 to create and test the mods before you can use them on a console. the idea here is that the consoles will be able to leverage all the work the PC modders undertake to create the mods, thereby giving everyone who plays the game full access to everything. But I'm dying over here. There are a ton of PC mods, but you literally take your game in your hands activating them. I lost 24 hours of play time due to some combination of mods and steam save backups. When the GECK comes out the mods will be more stable (mostly). What sucks is Bathesda said Q1 2016 which means as far away as April 30. #8Originally posted by wellser06:I wouldn't hold your breath...
