Apples to Apples

Red Apples to Apples board game box.Apples to Apples is a multi-player card game in which the objective is to win the most "Green Apple" cards. The game includes two sets of cards: "Red Apple" cards, which include the name of a person, place, thing, or event, and "Green Apple" cards, which include the characteristic of a person, place, thing or event. Each round, one player is considered the judge. The judge deals seven "Red Apple" cards to all players (including his or herself) and flips over a "Green Apple" card. The "Green Apple" card features the characteristic of a person, place, thing or event and all players (except the judge) "play" the "Red Apple" card from their hand that best matches the current "Green Apple" card. The judge chooses which "Red Apple" card submitted they like best and the player whose card is chosen wins that round's "Green Apple" card. Players repeat the same process each round with alternating judges. A player wins by being the first to earn the determined number of "Green Apple" cards for the number of players (ex. For a game of 4 players - 8 cards to win, game of 5 players - 7 cards to win).
