i get wanting to slow the game down, but this is beyond frustrating ive managed to almost fill 3 lucky scav boxes with all the loot i got from bags.stashes,filing cabnets, shelves, and i have yet to find one single gas analyzer. i have hit up oli so many times, its getting tedious, shoreline , and customs i have done every stash, filing cabnet, bag etc i could find

Hey guys, there is a solution for your problem:

Since the update launched is everything in file cabinets, bags and co super rare and often not even something in it. The chance of a gas analyzers are ducking rare in there. The biggest chance of getting one is at Interchange. Searcehd for hours and got then then easy in 3 raids all at Interchange. There spawn at the front row of Oli. At the rows near the cashboxes are a pretty high chance of the gas analyzer. I think it's the easiest way to get some. Hope I could help you guys

Yep. Look for stuff where it would logically be, exs: food in goshan, tools and parts in oli, gas an, can be found on oil shelves. Also found a random one in custom in one of the warehouses, but spawn chance is lower yes.

Only found one on the first day. 2nd day a friendly player scav dropped one on interchange, but died to 3 other player scavs on the way to extract. Not a single one since then.

Thats where majority of the items i got came from,. running interchange 90% of the time, only changing it up to other maps out of boredom. and as for extract camping, nah i draw the line doing that,

Same issue, I've been farming Gas analyzer spawns for days now and I still just can't get any at level 15

Originally, it should be seen at the factory pumping station. The probability system that neglects the story of the quest is stupid.🙂

Quest system has always been bad.

This quest is a flip of a coin. Gone 3 weeks without finding one before. Normally have to resort to doing Scav runs till I luckily spawn in with one. Last wipe I got lucky, but this wipe its looking like the opposite.

Update : after more runs with zero analyzers, i roped some freinds in 5 of us in total, we all load into interchange in seperate raids, with the task of hitting all areas, where a gas analyzer can be, we all completed 15 runs each, 5x15 = 75 runs total. out of them 75 runs we found zero analyzers, we will be doing more runs tonight to see if we get lucky or just to make some bank from other items we got

I'm literally on the same exact boat. Just over 200 raids between my PMC and scavs and havent seen a single one. I'm actually starting to lose my mind lol

Never found more than one, apparently only in actual loot locations not in the cabinets.

Also craftable now so that part is finally going to be sorted. So far, im looking at a situation where i almost emptied my quest log since i was getting nothing from Thera, apart from lighthouse which ive done nothing for since i dont know it yet.

Craft time somewhere around 16hours so i guess ill be getting my turn ins in a few days

Run interchange at night with no backpack and a scav VSS with SP5 on SEMI. It will kill every player you come across equally well for dirt cheap. Leg it to tech stores or OLI if you do not have the spawn, be quick, don't be an easy kill. Loot, leave the techstore and go somewhere safer to wait at least 30s to listen for player action. Find your best way out (Usually outside or underground because people don't hang about there to camp) and then take your quickest safest extract. Player scavs will be on your ass before the raid ticks below 37:00 so be quick. Your raids should not last longer than 15 minutes.

I had the best success rushing because if you rush, the only other people you will find will be other rushers, you won't bump into some slow rat or duffle pilferer being fast so you actually have less chance of dying unexpectedly because;

You are ahead of the rest of the players and only a few could possibly be ahead of you, thats far fewer threats.
Player scavs do not exist yet.
Players have not developed fights and angles unless they want to be the guy that camps the DOM escalator.

You gotta be quick. The techstores always get rinsed 5 minutes into the raid. OLI is lesser known and is a very viable alternative.

I'd legitimately rather have the quest be open and uncompleted the entire wipe than to play Interchange. I pretty much refuse to play Interchange or Shoreline because they just don't work very well within Tarkov. I'm sure I'm not in the minority when if I absolutely HAVE to play Interchange or Shoreline, I just barebones gear it and get out ASAP.

I'd disagree, with the current quest lines, shoreline incentivises camping out quest spots from bushes, killing players while they're completely defenceless. Woods and Customs, not so much. Lighthouse is TBC, currently I just find people bush-camping the west mountains every game. Interchange is just a rush-loot-gamma simulator. Too much loot concentrated in a single area, too many players. Shoreline has the same issue. 90% of the map is completely dead except the middle. You could lose nearly all of Shoreline and interchange surrounding areas and they'd play the exact same. I don't find either of them improve the game, and they're seen as an inconvenience to me.

There is nothing wrong with the map. It just seems to be inhabited by absolute hardcore pro gamer rockstars. Or naked dudes sprinting to the computers so they can log out with GPUs in ther safebox.

I just found a gas an on customs. Its a loose item they can't be found in jackets or drawers anymore. I also found one in the graphics card room on reserve.

You gotta check GFX/Tetriz level tech spawns or the small front shelves of OLI. I've found 3 in OLI back to back man. Early wipe I found one in the big main shelves of OLI when they were rarer. Rig run interchange and take the hole in fence exit, do not stay 15 minutes in raid.
