Barbara is a free character given away after progressing in Mondstadt's Archon quest. As a healer, she works very well early game and can still be used late game. Her best weapon is a 3-star Weapon that can be easily obtained from Wishing.

Use Elemental Skill for Continuous Healing and Applying Hydro

Barbara's Elemental Skill is a continuous healing aura that surrounds the active character and applies Hydro to them and the enemies that come in contact with it. If Barbara is the active character, her Normal/Charged Attacks will also heal her teammates.

Charged Attack While Her E. Skill is Active Gives More Healing

Barbara's Charged Attacks while her Elemental Skill is active generates x4 healing to her teammates. While it can consume a lot of stamina, Barbara's Passive reduces Stamina consumed during her Elemental Skill's duration.

Elemental Burst is Instant Healing

Barbara's Elemental Burst doesn't deal damage but it heals the team instantly. It has a massive amount of healing given and can overflow easily, making her compatible with Ocean-Hued Clam and Song of Days Past sets.

Barbara is a Hydro Catalyst user who is great as a pure Healing support or Bloom Driver. Both builds are viable but her Bloom Driver build can only be used if you have Nilou.

Elemental Skill Applies Hydro And Continuously Heals The Active Character

Barbara's Elemental Skill provides Healing and Hydro Application. It has a lengthy CD so it's best used before the On-Field character's turn. The Skill applies Hydro to both you and the enemies. While her Skill is active, Barbara's Normal/Charged Attack has an extra effect of healing her teammates.

Aside from being a versatile character, Barbara is an easy character to build and doesn't require premium weapons for both of her builds. For healer build, Thrilling Tales is easy to obtain from Wishes. For Bloom Driver build, Blackmarrow Lantern is craftable and can easily be refined.

C2 Is Decent for More Healing

Barbara doesn't gain a ton of value from her constellations in total, but her C2 does reduce the cooldown of her Skill by a decent amount while also providing the on-field Hydro character additional an Hydro DMG Bonus while her skill persists, and it can be a good stopping point if you are looking to grab a few of her constellations. Beyond that, either C3 and C5, which give extra levels to her Burst and Skill respectively, are also viable pickups, notably if you are equipped the Ocean-Hued Clam set on her. Her C6 offers a limited-use party revive, but isn't very practical due to the long cooldown.

Barbara's role as an off-field Hydro healer isn't unique, but she is still decent at it even without further investment. Because her constellations only provide marginal improvements to a fully functional C0 kit, getting more copies of her isn't an ideal pull priority, and should instead be treated as nice bonuses to have if you happen to get them.
