Genshin Impact: How To Obtain And Use Memento Lens In The Game

Genshin Impact 2.0 update has brought the new Inazuma region into the game. The region is fully loaded with lots of chests, challenges along with a whopping 32 world quests. There are also multiple new gadgets released with this Genshin Impact update, one of which is the Memento Lens. Here, we will take a look at how to obtain this gadget and how to use it in Genshin Impact.

How to get the Memento Lens in Genshin Impact

To acquire Memento Lens travelers need to complete the quest Sacrificial Offering and to start this quest players first need to finish A strange story in Konda quests first.

In the Sacrificial Offering quest players need to find the abandoned shrine located northeast of the village. On reaching the location you have to interact with the kitsune statue. The objective of the quest is to interact with the three ghosts present in the area and bring them all to one place – the three Kitsune statues. To bring them to one place players will need to interact with the NPC, after which the ghosts change their location. Observing the pattern will help in solving the quest.

Once all the ghosts are summoned at the correct location players will receive three exquisite chests and will be prompted to visit the Grand Narukami shrine. Speak to Inagi the Shrine Maiden, and you’ll get the Memento Lens.

How to finish the Sacrificial Offering quest

In order to finish the quest, the Traveler will have to use Memento Lens to observe the Kitsune statues imbued with Electro energy. By doing so, they will learn the sacred words also mentioned in the abandoned shrine’s earlier hints. After properly reciting the sacred words, players will navigate to a nearby barrier. The goal is to destroy the barrier by solving a puzzle and beating a Mysterious Samurai.

With the barrier destroyed, the Sacrificial Offering quest will conclude after some brief dialogue. Genshin Impact will reward players with 40 Primogems and the Cleansing Defilement quest will be unlocked after it.

How to use the Memento Lens in Genshin Impact

Memento Lens is a new item that’s mandatory for completing the Sacred Sakura Cleansing rituals. The gadget is powerful and helps in uncovering a lot of mysterious stories and unlocking a domain.

It’s a type of gadget, you can use it to uncover secrets hidden from the eye. You will need the Memento Lens to solve a bunch of puzzles around Inazuma. Sometimes it will trigger a memory (a dialogue screen), and sometimes it will reveal a statue or a missing part of the puzzle.
