Collect in the Liyue Region
Violetgrass is usually found growing on cliff faces and cliffsides of Liyue, which can only be reached by climbing. Bringing Tall characters or characters with the Climbing Bonus Passive Talent like Xiao makes scaling the cliffs easier!
You can also bring Qiqi or Yanfei to detect nearby Violetgrass with their Passive Talent, which marks all Liyue Local Specialties close by on your minimap!

There are lots of Violetgrass on the outskirts of Mingyun Village, particularly the cliffs facing Yaoguang Shoal.

The farming route will start at the teleport waypoints on Mingyun Village, Huaguang Stone Forest, and the Lisha area. It's best to begin on waypoints that are high up on the mountains!

The best place to farm Violetgrass is Tiangong Gorge at the Chasm's surface. There are Violetgrass growing on the cliffsides and walls all around the Chasm's surface, making it easier to farm.
