The famous Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, is known by many names: The White Wolf or Gwynbleidd (elder speak for "The White Wolf"), the Witcher, weilder of the Sword of Destiny, and Geralt the Riv.

Some time after being born from his sorceress mother Visenna and, presumably, his warrior father Korin, he was taken to the Witcher Wolf School, Kaer Morhen. From their he trained and began his journey on the Path.

He began by surviving the Trial of the Grasses, a series of intense mutations that few survive. From this he gained near superhuman abilities, including things such as strength and speed. From the experiments done on him, his hair turned to a colorless shade, leading to the name White Wolf.
