We’ll Help You Find the Right School or Program — One that Fits Your Child’s Needs and Your Budget
We’re an independent service specializing in placing troubled teenagers in therapeutic programs or safe schools. We charge the schools for our time, versus you, so there is no cost to you. We work with hundreds of schools, not just a handful like many educational consultants do. Our goal is to find the absolutely best choice for your student. We possess comprehensive knowledge of placement options for at-risk kids, including children with oppositional behaviors, substance abuse problems, learning difficulties, substance abuse, and other emotional/behavioral difficulties.
We will help you find the most suitable solution, based on your income and your child’s needs. We spend a great deal of our time on the road, visiting and evaluating programs. After conducting such visits and getting reports from parents, we have a good understanding of the strengths, options, and staff expertise of any school.
What works for one adolescent may not be appropriate for another. Each student and their family’s situation is different. Teaching styles, religious affiliation, specialized services and the role of arts and athletics are elements that define each school. Getting it right can make the difference between a mediocre experience and a tremendously fulfilling one.
Do you know what factors should be considered when selecting a therapeutic boarding school, military school, boarding school or wilderness program for your troubled teen? And how do you know if it is right for your child and family?
We’ll help you. Unfortunately, many kids bounce from program to program until they find one that works for them. Needless to say, that is a huge cost and frustration to parents. So lean on our firsthand experience. We can help you find the right school or program, the first time. We never pressure you to choose any particular school and our help never affects the tuition rate of any school or program we recommend.
WHAT IS BEST CHOICE ADMISSIONS SERVICES LLC?
BCAS provides free information to individuals seeking therapeutic or educational programs but does not offer professional referrals or advice, as we are neither licensed nor bonded to provide medical, psychological, or educational guidance. BCAS suggests potential options for schools based on program requests, not financial incentives. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for consulting licensed professionals before deciding on a residential placement. BCAS operates as an independent third party and is not employed by or an agent of the programs it references. We receive a flat fee per enrollment, regardless of services rendered, program duration, or additional services. BCAS does not accept royalties, kickbacks, or fees tied to specific outcomes and may refer families to programs offering no compensation, particularly for low-income cases. While BCAS visits campuses and gathers feedback, we do not oversee program operations and are not liable for their practices. If a program is proven guilty of unlawful conduct, BCAS will cease recommendations and remove it from directories. The FTC advises verifying staff credentials, program licensing, and accreditation, conducting site visits, and obtaining written policies before enrolling in a residential program. BCAS encourages families to conduct due diligence and seek professional counsel for informed decision-making.
Summary of Key Points:
(1) HOW WE SELECT PROGRAMS TO REPRESENTWe collaborate with a diverse and continually expanding network of programs and schools, selected based on factors such as the scope of their offerings, longevity, location, reviews, facilities, and the expertise of their staff. While we strive to recommend programs that meet high standards, including student safety and quality of service, we do not have comprehensive knowledge of all activities at these institutions. Programs that fail to ensure student safety or maintain acceptable service levels are promptly removed from our list. However, parents should be aware that we have no direct oversight or control over these programs and cannot fully monitor their operations.(2) HOW WE ARE REMUNERATED FOR OUR SERVICESSchools and institutions request our 3rd party help to assist in public outreach and communication. For each enrollment resulting from our assistance, we receive a flat fee, which is independent of the cost of the school or program and unrelated to the specific services provided. We are not placement agents, we do not work for the schools we might recommend, and we we receive no additional kickbacks or compensation tied to the level or type of services delivered by the institution.(3) HOW WE CHOOSE WHICH INSTITUTIONS TO OFFER AS OPTIONSWe are neither licensed educational consultants nor psychologists and do not provide professional referrals to specific programs. Instead, we present a range of options that may suit the needs of the parent and child, drawn from organizations that have requested our assistance. Factors such as the family’s budget, geographic location, the services offered by the institution, and our understanding of the types of students these programs prefer to work with inform our suggestions. We strongly encourage parents to consult with licensed medical, psychological, or educational professionals to make the final decision regarding the selection of a school or program.(4) WHAT KIND OF AGREEMENT WE HAVE WITH THESE SCHOOLS AND PROGRAMSWe suggest programs and schools that we believe to be among the best, based on our prior experience working in similar institutions, and invite them to be included in our list of options. We do not guarantee any specific number of student referrals to these organizations and strictly limit our compensation to a flat fee, refusing any additional remuneration or kickbacks. We have no ownership or financial stake in any of the programs we recommend. Additionally, we are not employed by, nor do we serve as an agent or contractor for any of these programs.(5) WHAT COULD CAUSE US TO NO LONGER REPRESENT A PROGRAM, OR TO REFRAIN FROM HELPING AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CONTACTS US.We suggest only the programs and schools that we deem to have a good reputation. That said, we do not have comprehensive day-to-day knowledge of, or control over, the internal operations of these organizations. As such, each program or institution indemnifies us from liability. If a court of law determines that a program or its staff has engaged in negligence or abuse, we will immediately cease recommending that program. We assist individuals regardless of their ethnicity or beliefs. However, we may be unable to provide assistance to those who lack the funds required to engage with any organization we suggest. The determination of accepting a child is made at the school’s sole discretion.“NO WARRANTY” LEGAL NOTICE: Best Choice Admissions Services LLC (“BCAS”) expressly disclaims any guarantee or warranty of recovery, improvement, or positive outcomes for individuals attending any program or school we may suggest. Additionally, BCAS does not guarantee the safety of students in these programs, as we have no control over their operations. We make no representations or assurances regarding the safety, non-discriminatory practices, or overall environment of any institution or program. The outcomes of a student’s recovery, future behavior, emotional well-being, mental or physical health, career prospects, or relationships are entirely dependent on the individual’s engagement with and application of the principles and teachings provided by the program, school, or its personnel, including staff and therapists. BCAS has no authority over the internal operations, procedures, therapy, or actions of any programs or institutions referenced in communications or directories. Furthermore, BCAS has no financial interest, ownership stake, or leadership role in any of the programs or schools it recommends.Similar Content:
