The Sexual Assault Care Centre (SACC) at AWARE provides free services to survivors of all genders (including LGBTQ survivors) who have experienced sexual assault, helping them deal with their experiences and make decisions about their next steps.
Sexual assault (including rape) can be highly traumatic. It can take a long time to recover after such a crime. If you have been a victim of sexual assault, please know that it is not your fault.
Recovering can take time and courage, but no one has to go through this experience alone. We work to create a supportive environment, and to provide a safe place to seek help.
At SACC we take confidentiality very seriously. All conversations you have with us will be kept confidential. However, in certain situations (e.g. if we feel that you or another person is unsafe), we may have to let another party know some of your information. Read more about what to expect when you contact us, and our confidentiality policy, here.
SACC services are conducted in English only. If you are unable to speak English, or if you are referring someone who is unable to speak English, please consider reaching out to the National Anti-Violence and Sexual Harassment Helpline at 1800 777 0000 (24/7 with services in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil).
