I am currently in search of Purple Mushroom for the Community Center, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! It's summer, and I'm searching levels 82+ of the mines, but there is just no mushroom. Am I doing something wrong or is it just that rare? < > Showing 1-12 of 12 comments Nakos View Profile View Posts 12 Dec, 2016 @ 6:35am It's rare, yes. Demetrius offers to set up a field study in the cave on your property. If you take the mushroom option, Purple Mushrooms will occasionally spawn there. The mine level is ... somewhat random. The Mushroom level of the mine starts out somewhere between 80 and 100 (I believe) and moves up one floor a day, until it reaches 80, then it re-randomizes and starts again. So ... it's there, but that doesn't mean you'll find it on the day you go down into the mine. Check the Witch's cart and check the secret glade I think you can occasionally find them there as well. It's also remotely possible that the Wizard will occasionally send you one if you become good friends with him. #1 Nefai View Profile View Posts 12 Dec, 2016 @ 7:21am Use the Mine, and as Nakos pointed out, there is a random floor each day that will be "the mushroom floor." The torches will be all different colors and there will be mushrooms everywhere. Which floor has the mushrooms changes every day, but it stays that floor for that entire day, so you can just loot the mushrooms over and over that day.I just pop into 80 and check 81, then pop into 85 and check 86. If it's one of those, I grab all the mushrooms, then exit via the ladder, which rerolls the mine, and then jump right back onto the elevator to 80 or 85. If it's not, I come back the next day. Holy smokes, that was rough - I was mining 7 in-game days solely for this mushroom. #3 Derek Volker View Profile View Posts 12 Dec, 2016 @ 8:07am Level 100+ in the mines, you gonna find plenty. #4 Caffeinated_Chaos View Profile View Posts 12 Dec, 2016 @ 11:59am They started showing up in pretty good numbers once i got down to level 105+ in the mines. so i agree with derek you'll find plenty once you get to that point. #5 noesis View Profile View Posts 12 Dec, 2016 @ 1:15pm And here I thought that you can't find it after level 100 and kept searching on levels 82-99... Oh well, it's over anyway. #6 Pristine1281 View Profile View Posts 13 Dec, 2016 @ 5:02pm There's also the rare chance you'll get one chopping done one of those mushroom trees found on your farm. You need mushrooms (all types) to be able to craft an energy which pretty much fills up all energy and health. #7 imcommandercody View Profile View Posts 28 Jun, 2019 @ 11:48am mushroom trees only drop red mushroom's #8 SenMithrarin85 View Profile View Posts 28 Jun, 2019 @ 12:36pm I tend to find them pretty easily through the mushroom cave option. #9 arti_llery View Profile View Posts 28 Jun, 2019 @ 7:54pm You can tap a mushroom tree for the various type. #10 Okrutnik View Profile View Posts 29 Jun, 2019 @ 1:14am
