- Veteran Education Benefits
The GI Bill® is an education benefit earned by members of Active Duty, Selected Reserve, and National Guard Armed Forces and their families. Eligibility for veteran and dependent education benefits is determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). GI Bill® benefits percentage, type and coverage are based on the length of active-duty service as determined by the VA. Veterans education benefits can change significantly over time. Please read the summaries of changes on the VA website to find out how they may affect you.
