13. bře. 2016 v 22.17 Giganotosaurus spawn rate needs tweaking! I recently flew up to frozen tooth to collect some metal and there were at least 5 giganotosaurus all on the same peak! I play on single player with all of the default settings, no I don't hunt there to make them spawn nor do I use any admin commands. This occurs on several mountains including Far's Peak and Frozen Fang. These things are supposed to be rare and I see more of them than I do T Rexes, I live in the Hidden Lake and there won't be anything I can do if one decides to come breaking down my door. If these things become anymore common they're going to ruin single player.Screenshot:http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/544174006318999606/90EF67E53FA0C45B47029F00050059B0ED80A7B2/ < > Zobrazuje se 1–11 z 11 komentářů

13. bře. 2016 v 22.31 I live in the hidden lake also and I have had a few gigas on my doorstep. Usually they pass by on there own or I lead them away with a argent and a phiomia. If you have behemoth gates in all the paths leading in you should be fine the lack of big prey in the woods and the natural terrain should keep the gigas out pretty well. Also what is the red blob in the picture? #2

14. bře. 2016 v 1.43 The problem is, I think, they have a chance to spawn in certain areas of the map. Once one spawns, it becomes unkillable (nothing wild can take one down, and other gigas won't agro), but continues killing and eating everything that spawns in the area. Those respawns have a very slight chance of respawning as a giga. If one DOES spawn, it's there forever, or until you tame it/kill it. That cycle repeats forever until it's mostly gigas, tho obviously it slows down as less mobs get killed and more gigas spawn. If you don't DestroyWildDinos then you'll keep getting them built up unless you start killing them (by training to the ocean) or taming them. Luckily though, it increases your chances of getting a 120 giga. I found one on my single player and managed to tame it. Now I have no meat problems, thanks to Cuddles the lvl 212 giga :) #3

Do they destroy stone walls/gates for fun, or do they need to see a dino beyond it to bash a stone one down? #5
mathelen původně napsal:They need to see a dino close to the gate in order to attack it. But a stupid wild compy is enough, so be carefull #6Chicken-Claw původně napsal:I live in the hidden lake also and I have had a few gigas on my doorstep. Also what is the red blob in the picture?Oh that's just a glitch in the terrain texture. I think it has to do with my graphics card not being good enough, as it is a bit old. I haven't been able to fix it unfortunately :/ #7
mathelen původně napsal:Even if a giga attacks your gate while attacking something else it should kill the thing it is attacking before it destroys your gate and then it should go on to killing something else instead of destroying the gate. #8Chicken-Claw původně napsal:I live in the hidden lake also and I have had a few gigas on my doorstep. There to OP.I am okay with them being in the game I just think wild gigas should not be able to murder 50 tamed gigas in a row and 2 or 3 tamed rexes should be able to take out a tamed giga and do a good chunk of damge to a wild giga or be able to kill it themselfs. #10
