The Pilot Episode Was Originally Filmed In The Toronto Area But Some Of The Scenes Had To Be Re-shot At The Warner Brothers Backlot On Midwest Street. I Tried To List The Locations From Both Of These Places In Case You Would Like To Visit Canada

   I am 65 years old and for the past 3 or 4 weeks have been TOTALLY hooked on Gilmore Girls on Netflix. What's wrong with me???? It's the wit of the show. As I've gotten to season 3 episode 21, and yes I've done those 3 seasons in 3 or 4 weeks, I am totally hopeless. Anyway, you have a great site here. Thanks a bunch.

   165 main street Unionville no longer exists. Williams hardware is long gone.the building is still there but it's now a hair salon for men and the address has been changed to 177.yesterday I walked through the area.it was very nostalgic to stand and walk where Lauren did...I'll be visiting the old parent house this weekend.does anyone know why they chose this section of Unionville to film the pilot?really love the show hope there will be more. the Netflix cliffhanger was annoying...

   I gotta say you did a great job finding all these locations! It was pretty easy for me to find Lukes diner on Google Maps, but the Independence Inn.. I thought it was in the same town in Unionville. But it was far away on this hidden road. But I found it by using 3D overview mode. Thats the only way to see it. and yes it is very private. You cant even see the nearests road in street view! And looking at it in satelite mode it sure looks pretty. It like Minas Tirith in a dry desert. No wonder its private hehe.

      if you looked up the address given in Unionville, as mentioned the address has changed, it's now 177 and is a men's hairstyling business.someone posted a really good overlay photo of Luke's from the show and Williams hardware.if you compare the building style it's definitely the sane one. but 165 no longer exists :(it's really nice to have been able to walk and stand in the exact places Lauren did... :)

      Try 156 Main Street, Unionville on google maps. I believe that's Luke's - check out upper etched windows.

    We're the mall scenes in season 4 filmed at the Woodbine plaza in Toronto ? The episode where Rory and Lorelei play hookie to window shop and meet Emily there who is on a shopping spree?

       They were filmed in Burbank CA. Burbank Town Center Mall.

    Hi, I read that in the pilot filmed in Canada Lorelei's house or at least the inside were actually filmed in somebody's real home? I can't imagine someone actually having a room off of the kitchen?
