I know it is not everyone's cup of tea but I see people who haven't touched the genre who say it is the "worst game of all time" or the "cringe is too strong". They don't like BR games.2. They don't like playing games that are popular (may feel like they're not unique unless they play a niche game).3. The dances have had a decent effect across the world and people are just fed up of seeing all these Fortnite dances and due to them stemming from Fortnite (though the dances are inspired by other things - but Fortnite made them 'popular'), they just hate on Fortnite. 4. Maybe the building aspect. The fact that you see someone in an open area, hit them with a sniper and they then build a house in 7 seconds flat can annoy people I suppose.5. Honestly I loved the original fortnite map :( I'd rather just play it, but honestly fortnite is my least favorite BR game I mean at least in H1Z1 I get cosmetics for winning. Yeah, I really liked the simplicity the original map had going for it. For a brief time it seemed like the best BR on the market, now even some of the knockoffs like Creative Destruction are actually better games.Battle Royale as a genre is just full of games that have a ton of promise rising to the top just to come tumbling down.
