That's because Easter Sunday is sandwiched between two bank holidays Good Friday and Easter Monday. But the date of Easter changes every year because its scheduled acording to the lunar calendar. When is Good Friday 2019?

This year Good Friday is on April 19.

Good Friday is a bank holiday in the UK which means most people will have the day off work.

Some Christians chose to go to church on Good Friday as it commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus on the Cross.

Good Friday is also known as Black Friday, Holy Friday and Great Friday and is always the Friday before Easter weekend.

Easter weekend starts on Good Friday and runs through to Easter Monday.

That is because it is based on a lunar calendar and is usually celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon on or after March 21.
