It's really incredible how enduring these tiny lines are. I mean they're not even unique in terms of the phrasing either, literally just "what are you buying" and "what are you selling." But they still echo in my mind at least several times a year at the absolute least... And I've only played RE4 like maybe 3 times since release.

Member Oct 25, 2017 58,293 The Resident Evil 4 script feels like it would be the result of the localization team adapting things for western tastes but then I looked at the Japanese subtitles - it always had English voices - and was pleased to discover that it's basically the same. The one major difference I noticed is that Leon has a catchphrase in the Japanese script, which in English is a variety of situational quips. It translates to something like "I could fuckin' cry".
