The Greenlandic language belongs to the group of Inuit languages and is spoken in Greenland. It has three dialects that are spoken in the north (Avanersuaq), east (Tunu) and west of the island (Kitaa). It is a polythetic language (the boundary between the separate words and the sentence is not very clear) and agglutinative (the sentence is built by adding different formatives to the word).
