I recommend using Cache as its a flat map and mid has a really nice straight line to bhop along.Once you've connected to the server you wanna type these commands into your console:- bind mwheelup +jump- bind mwheeldown +jumpThis will mean that when you move your mouse wheel, you will jump. You will need to bind the jump to your mouse wheel as its spamable. This is really useful and its easier to use then your space bar.Try running along the line moving your mouse wheel up and then down when your about to land. This is a basic bhop. Strafe-jumping Strafe-jumping is a technique that allows you to increase your player's speed. To strafe, run and jump forward. let go of the "w" key and press the "a" key, while you are doing this turn your player to the left. To strafe to the right use the "d" key and turn your mosue to the right. A strafe to the left should look something like this. Type cl_showpos 1 into your console this will give you a meter at the top saying "vel:". This is your velocity and is useful as it will show how much speed you've gained. Running with a knife is 250 and the max speed you can go is 300. A bhop should be anywhere between 250 and 300. Applying The Strafe Now try to apply the strafe to the bhop. You wanna be aiming to land your strafe on the line as this will gain you maximum speed. Practice this until you get good. One thing to remember when bhopping is to NOT press the “w” key. just focus on your strafe with the “a” and “d” key. As you get better try to bhop on maps like Dust_II as the ground has an uneven surface. Thankyou!
