Hello everyone! I am going to show you how to make a nice Minecraft skin! PS: I use Skindex for making skins(https://www.minecraftskins.com/skin-editor/), but you can use whatever website you think is easiest for you! 1. Deciding your model If you don't know what I mean, the model of the skin is the length of the arms. Classic: 4px Slim: 3px 2. Deciding your colors Spin through the color wheel and choose which colors you like. I personally don't like bright/hot colors, but it's up to you ;) For example, I chose a brown color for the hair. I spun through the color wheel from red to a dark orange, as you can see here. acac8ba6671ffd096dfcbd7c7bc80d20.png 3. Shading When I shade my skins, I usually start unshaded, then I shade the parts one by one. It is also important when you have your shape planned out when you start to shade. Hair When you shade your hair, don't shade like an X, or diagonally Make your hair shading vertical When I shade, I start with the darkest color, which will outline the shape 64265411f420ab17f25d7f1a89735e54.png Then keep outlining it until there's no blank parts PS, you can add backhair if you want Clothing First, when you shade the arms, you would need to know where the darkest parts are, which is the top, middle, and bottom, and do the exact same thing on the back and on the other arm c00adcb4f04ecaa5670b127e40b5fcad.png Then outline the darkest parts with a lighter shade all around 2f828b3e978a701c689e4a0b6d750b26.png Then, fill the rest in with the lightest shade You can also do the same thing to the shirt :p Pants When you shade the pants, the darkest part is all the way to the middle, which would look like this, and do it on the back too (You can also add ripped jeans if you want f8ba6d1ddd5b67a2f019d60dc348055e.png And leave room for the shoes (if you want any lol) Then, outline that part all around 3e2a95853549f974d38a6c7e3e5bb8c5.png Then, fill the blank parts of the pants with the lightest shade. Shoes The shoes don't need that much shading, but you can add more if you want! When I shade my shoes, I usually put a light gray in the middle and fill the rest with white, but you can do whatever you want! 3e2a95853549f974d38a6c7e3e5bb8c5.png I know this isn't the best guide, but I tried. Please don't bully me, :c If you have any suggestions on what I should change, or if you have any questions, please tell me! Last edited: Dec 5, 2018 Click to expand... Mystal Written by
