Biology[]

Characteristics[]

Gumpod is a small, crab-like Loomian, with an orange exoskeleton and a blue-turquoise shell on its back. It has two yellow eyestalks with plain, sphere-like eyes atop them. Attatched to its underbelly are six orange legs, all of which with one yellow claw on the end of them.

Origin[]

Gumpod's shell resembles a chicle seed from the sapodilla tree, native to Southern Mexico, Belize and Northeastern Guatemala. The tree is made into gum, which is part of the portmanteau of Gumpod's name. The rest comes from the word isopod, which is an order of crustaceans that includes woodlice and their relatives.

Description[]

The Loomipedia entry for Gumpod in each installment of Loomian Legacy is listed as follows:

Game Description
VoS Gumpods scuttle around the banks of hot springs. Their carapace allows them to survive in very hot waters.
Gumpod is available in all games of the Loomian Legacy series.
