In their first collaboration since the 2005 film Revolver, Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie will join forces once again for the new film, Wrath of Man.

The film was released in many countries back in 2021 (including the US in May of that year).

Alongside Statham, the film also stars Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Chris Reilly, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, DeObia Oparei and Eddie Marsan.

Peter Debruge (Variety) said of the film, "A few years ago, when Sam Mendes left the Bond franchise, Ritchie's name was floated as a possible replacement. He didn't take the gig, but Wrath of Man shows that he certainly could have, classing up his signature technique while never quite abandoning the cockney swagger."

Other reviewers weren't entirely as complimentary, with Benjamin Lee (The Guardian) saying, "while hinged on a threadbare plot as familiar as it is forgettable, this sinewy action B-movie delivers just about enough primal entertainment."

What is the plot of Wrath of Man?

Wrath of Man follows the story of H, a mysterious and elusive character that works for a cash truck company. He is primarily responsible for protecting the deliveries of millions of dollars that take place around LA every week.

The rest of his crew quickly become aware that all is not as it seems upon discovering that H's skills go way beyond that of a delivery guard.

It is eventually revealed that H is actually an undercover crime boss desperately seeking revenge for the murder of his son.

The film is originally based on the French movie Le Convoyeur (Cash Truck).
