Thor said he suffers from "biggeritis", and seemed genuine when he said he never felt big enough as hard as that is to believe. At his age the idea of losing any height seems almost preposterous, but I might actually be thinking that he could have lost a small bit. I mean think about the toll that weight 400+ pounds consistently would put on your body. Also Strongman competitions and all the extremely high intensity physical activities that he has participated in have certainly affected his spine. Nobody under 6 ft 8 should be over 300 lbs really, it's not healthy. I'd say 340 lbs is only reasonable for a guy like The Dutch Giant. The promoter at World's Strongest Man and Giants Live (Colin Bryce) always inflated and still does inflate the strongmen's heights. He has a very Vince McMahon type of personality and business mindset to make already big men bigger than life itself. None of the guys are as tall as they are listed (billed). 6'4" Mark Felix is actually 6'1". Eddie Hall is shorter than 6'0"-6'1" Laurence Shahlei (who is at least 2" shorter than 6'3" Zydrunas Zavickas who was once listed at 6'2). The list goes on and on. Terry Hollands who is billed at 6'6" and even 6'7" at times is only 6'3"-6'4" in reality. Mariusz Pudzianowski was a legit 5'11", not 6'1", Svend Karlsen who used to get billed at 6'2" and even 6'3" at times is a legit 5'11"-6'0" guy (slightly edged out Mariusz). Guys in the 70's and 80's were always listed at their real heights (Bill Kazmaier at 6'2.5" in his prime and Geoff Capes at 6'5.5" in his prime). That started to change by the mid 90's and even more so when Colin Bryce began commentating the events starting in the early 2000's (adding up to 4" to some strongmen's heights). If he's in 6'7 range it's high 6'7 range. I suspect like Eddie he had started to encounter some life threatening health issues from being that heavy and lifting that heavy. Though he made it look easy and clearly could have pulled 520 even 530 kg he's generally looked in terrible health, always heavily out of breath and looking bloated.
