Halloween is right around the corner, Alabamians.

Whether you’re spending the holiday watching a plethora of scary movies and TV shows or attending a gathering dressed as some animal or pop culture character, there is one more thing to consider: the day you’re potentially doing your activity.

Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, a day in the fall that is often taken up by football games, church activities, or something else entirely. Some people might opt to conduct festivities on Saturday instead.
