Understand[edit]
Hamilton Township is one of the largest townships in New Jersey, although it does not have a true "downtown", but a number of neighborhoods within the township form smaller commercial centers. Groveville, Hamilton Square, Mercerville, White Horse and Yardville are all census-designated places and unincorporated communities within the township which have separate postal addresses.

There is a train station near I-295 and Sloan Avenue with NJ Transit service to Newark and New York. At the Trenton Transit Center, Amtrak service is available to Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Boston (With SEPTA offering cheaper service to Philadelphia). The RiverLine offers service between Trenton and Camden.
Get around[edit]
New Jersey Transit offers local bus service around Hamilton Township on its 600-series bus routes. The U.S.130 Connection offers service to Hightstown.

- Deutzville Park Athletic Field, Bunting Avenue. Athletic park with Baseball/Softball fields, Basketball courts, Soccer/Football fields, children's playground, Woodlands and Benches.
- Grounds for Sculpture, +1 609 586-0616, 18 Fairgrounds Rd, Hamilton, [1]. Tu-Su 10AM-6PM. Outdoor art park in Hamilton on the former site of the old Trenton Fairgrounds; some of the old buildings have been incorporated into the site housing galleries, sculpture studios, a gift shop, and cafe. Selected sculptures on display and botanical plantings change throughout the seasons, but don't miss the three-dimensional tableau of Henri Rousseau's "The Dream" hidden in a grove. The highlights of the 35-acre, beautifully landscaped park have paved paths and those in wheelchairs should have no problem getting around; some paths, however, are gravel or stepping stones, and should be navigated with care. Peacocks wander the grounds and beg to be fed a breadcrumb or two. Parking is abundant. Special tours for the blind, those in wheelchairs, small children, artists, and students are available. Note: picnicking is not allowed inside the park. $10, $6 for children up to age 12, and $8 for students and minors over age 12 and seniors.
- Hamilton Veterans Park, 2206 Kuser Road, ☎ +1 609-890-3502, [x]. 333 acre park with walking paths sprinkled through wooded areas and intermittent picnic grounds, rest stops and athletic fields. The west side of the park features a large lake centered by a water fountain. The north side offers a huge tennis complex, soccer and softball fields.
