Apologies in advance if there’s a similar thread to this elsewhere. Not been to Hampden for a few years and can’t remember how many rows there are. My semi final tickets are for row TT, does anyone know how far back that is?GEODGC

Games at Hampden are better watched on the TV you miss the atmosphere but they have tightened up on parking and the view is poor as well.jimbo 08

I was in row ccc last year and it felt like we were almost behind the food stall. Also there was a big %^*& off screen half in our way blocking the field. Horrible place.DechmontLoyal

Official Ticketer I’m still waiting for my West Stand ticket to be delivered so that I can find out just how shite a view I’ve got this time. Been north stand the last few years times, about half way up, so in fairness it wasn’t all horrible. Worst I’ve had was west stand row c or d, right behind the goals.Glasgow Ger

It’ll be a great day if/ when we win no matter where we are seated. I say seated but in my experience no one sits at hampdump in the West section at least.

It is pretty shambolic that this piece of shit was renovated only 20 years ago. It’s a dreadful setup. One of the worst stadiums I’ve watched football in. Bulldoze and off to Murrayfield we go.Danger Zone
Just the tip...
Unless you’re sat in the north or south stand it’ll be pish, that’s all you need to know. Can’t remember Which is which but I was in one of them for both the CIS cup final (beat Dundee Hibs on penalties) and the Falkirk SC final (novo goal) and they were decent enough. But I’ve also been stuck behind the goal numerous times and you’re a mile away from the action and it’s hard to even gauge whether a player it’s 5 yards from goal or 50 yards from goal. It’s honestly a shite stadium overall and it’s a bit embarrassing that it’s the national stadium that hosts our “showpiece” events.GEODGC

I was amazed to find out that the West Stand cost the grand total of £700,000 to transform from terracing to all seating. Everything apart from the Main Stand should have been pulled down and redone. I’ve only ever not been in the west stand twice. Once was when kanchelskis stood on the ball and the other was kontermans goal.Amstel

Row Z, Section P3, the seats closer to P2 which is slightly more central. Might actually be the best area I’ve had for Hampden this far.gordon_blue

Staff member It’s a shambles were still going to this shitehole of a stadium because the National Association have fucked it and they are skint. It will never change because as long as we keep getting to semi’s/finals we’ll sell out the Stadium and the cycle continues. Murrayfield would be so much better for everyone.Professor Yaffle

Money obviously an issue but they should apply to lottery, government and large corporate sponsors and SKY / BT and get it done. National stadium more like national digrace. A
