ORIGIN Harry Styles is a British singer, songwriter and member of the boy band, One Direction. He was born to parents Anne and Desmond Styles on February 1, 1994 in Worcestershire, England. He has an older sister named Gemma. Styles was raised in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire where he attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. He worked briefly at a bakery prior to his music career.

CAREER Styles started out singing locally with his band, White Eskimo. He competed on the seventh season of ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 both as a solo performer and as a group (One Direction).
