I think the whole place can be taken down eventually. The mayor can be killed during or after a related quest (available if you don't side with the Institute ijn the main quest), and Piper you could potentially move elsewhere. Finished the game. Went back to Diamond city. Bodies everywhere. Everyone left alive acted as if I had not gone on the killing spree. Same thing at Sanctuary. I killed off everyone, went out and killed off all I could of the BOS, returned to Sanctuary and only Danse was hostile. Again, with bodies everywhere everyone went on as if nothing had happened.If you can get up into the stands and have a good snyper rifle, you can take out everyone without them knowing it is you, as long as you stay under cover and take your time. It's funny, though, the security guards all pack pipe pistols, but leave no ammo, only a baseball bat (varying colors), umpire chest guards and leg guards, but no baseball gloves.I did manage to cap the mayor, and was chased out of town by security who relentlessly persued me through the streets of the Commonwealth. I was haveing the best time I've had in the game so far...and then the game quit suddenly. I must have done something so bad they were forced to just pull the plug on me. I like the thrill of front-line battles. I'll most likely get enough of this spree in a few more kills.Regarding LkSk's spree, cool! Were you able to loot some nice stuff from any of the vendors? After you took out the security guards, were they replaced? How 'bout the bots?
