Counting On is no longer coming back to TLC.

On Tuesday, the network announced that it canceled the reality series after 11 seasons amid the ongoing child pornography case against Josh Duggar.

“TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On,” the network said in a statement to Variety. “TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.”

A spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting, Counting On centered on the families of Duggar sisters Jessa Seewald, Jinger Vuolo, and Joy-Anna Forsyth and their parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Launched in 2015, Counting On was created in the wake of Josh’s molestation controversy and subsequent cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

Though Josh, the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle, was not featured in Counting On, his wife Anna Duggar and their six children were. The twelfth and last episode of the show’s season 11, which now serves as the series finale, aired on September 22, 2020.

It was reported last April 30th that Josh had been arrested in Arkansas for possession of child pornography. Josh was charged by indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography, and pled not guilty. Released from jail a week after his arrest, Josh is presently awaiting trial. If convicted Josh faces up to 20 years in prison and a maximum of $250,000 in fines for each count.

Josh’s trial was originally set for July 6th, but his legal team filed a motion to delay the hearing to February next year. When prosecutors balked at such a lengthy delay, the court found a middle ground and set the trial on November 30th. Josh is now under home confinement with “third party custodians.” He was also granted contact with his kids as long as his wife is present.
