book nowLIGHT TINTING Installation PROCESS.
We begin the vehicle light tinting application process by thoroughly cleaning and preparing your lights with specialist products. It is crucial to remove all dirt and dust from all the surrounding areas.
Once the area is clean, we spray products onto the light so we can reposition the film throughout the application process to give you a perfect result!
We go on to remove the backing of the tint carefully and align it precisely with your light for a flawless fit. Once the tint film is on, we ensure no air bubbles or fogginess are surrounding the lights (which often happens if moisture has not been properly removed).
We cater to a plethora of light shapes, and our expert team can guarantee exceptional results. Alongside our impressive service, we abide by the legal standards when undertaking any vehicle light tinting.
Get A QuoteIs it legal to tint your tail lights UK?
Lights cannot be legally dimmed by more than 50%, and you need to be able to see the original colour, e.g. headlights must be white/yellow and rear lights must be red.
If you do not stick to the legal regulations, you could be faced with a fine and you would pose a risk to other drives on the road.
How long does tint last on headlights?
It is dependent on the lifespan of the film used. Usually, standard films can last from two to three years, whereas tinted PPF can last for up to 10 years.
However, this does not mean that you cannot remove or change your light tint. Here at The Vehicle Wrapping Centre, we can change and remove the tint using the correct technics to minimise the risk of damaging your lights
