May 10, 2011 20 2 Massachusetts Today I pulled my twist out of my pocket and the battery had seperated. The cap where the threads and the buttons are had seperated from the battery cylinder. I pushed them back together but then realized the button was stuck inside and I could not get it to pop back out. So, I (tried to) carefully seperate the thread cap from the cylinder and succeeded in ripping a wire out when I seperated them. Now I have a single red wire coming from the contact plate that is not connected to anything. I could easily solder the wire back to the board, but I have no idea where it is supposed to go! Does anyone know where the wire needs to be soldered? Pictures would be fantastic if anyone has them.

On the lower portion of the board, closest to the battery, there is a V and a G silkscreened on the board. The red wire goes to the V and the black wire goes to the G. These are the wires that most often detach. If the other red wire detached just post back and I will upload a pick. For the most part, the solder connections are silk-screened and easy to find. Hope this helps. •••

The easiest way is to get the board back in and glue it in place. Then solder the wire back on. The board tends to come back out if you dont and then u have to use the shim again. Also be very care full with the wires. I fried a board because the postive touched the battery wall. Also try not to pull on the battery. On the ego t theres a wire soldered to the base. •••
