Demon Slayer Season 2 featured two story arcs, The Mugen Train and Entertainment District. After last week's great episode, Ufotable gave us an extended anime episode with an additional runtime of 10 minutes.

Season 2 of Demon Slayer Has Concluded With The Latest Episode

After watching the recent heartfelt episode, Demon Slayer fans wonder if they should look forward to a Season 2 Episode 12 next week. Well, as much as we would like to see more of this excellent anime series, it's confirmed that Season 2 of Demon Slayer is over with Episode 11's release.

A few months back, Ufotable officially confirmed that Demon Slayer Season 2 would feature 18 episodes. The first seven episodes will be for Mugen Train and the remaining for Entertainment District. However, it's important to note that two episodes of the new arc had an extended runtime.

Of course, it's heartbreaking that there won't be a new Demon Slayer episode next weekend. But it's good to know that Season 3 of the popular anime series is already confirmed. However, get ready to wait at least 1.5 years to get Demon Slayer back on your screens with new episodes.

Here's What Else to Look Forward to in 2022 After Demon Slayer Season 2?

Even though Demon Slayer Season 2 is over, anime fans still have a lot to look forward to this year. For instance, MAPPA's Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 is still ongoing, and it will get new episodes for the next six weeks. Other than that, we know that the much-awaited Chainsaw Man will release sometime in 2022, most probably sometime around October. Finally, Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is confirmed to arrive in 2023. Hopefully, it will arrive in the first half of next year during Winter 2023 anime season.
