Here's What Each Wanna One Member Is Doing 1 Year After ...

It has been a year since Wanna One held its finale concert and disbanded. The group was composed of 11 members who placed in the top 11 of Produce 101 Season 2. Here’s where all the members are currently a year after their disbandment.

1. Kang Daniel

The center of Wanna One is currently the CEO of his own company, Konnect Entertainment. He’s also enjoying a successful solo career, with his most recent release being the song “TOUCHIN”. He’s currently taking a break due to some health issues.

 

 

2. Park Jihoon

Park Jihoon has gone on to have a career in both music and acting. He was cast into drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. He’s also become a solo artist and his most recent release is “360”.

 

 

3 & 4. Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin

These two labelmates debuted in the same group after the disbandment of Wanna One, which was AB6IX. AB6IX was formed with 4 of the 5 members having competed in Produce 101 Season 2, so the general public was aware of who they were. The group’s most recent release is “Blind For Love”.

 

 

5. Kim Jaehwan

The main vocalist of Wanna One went on to have a solo career with the agency that ran Wanna One, Swing Entertainment. He is focusing more on ballads and his vocals but still dances to choreographies from time to time. His most recent release is “The Time I Need”.

 

 

6. Ong Seongwu

Ong Seongwu went on to take on both acting and music. He went on to be the male lead for drama At Eighteen, where he was praised for his acting skills. He currently hasn’t released an album, but has released a song recently called “We Belong”

 

 

7. Lai Guanlin

Like a lot of members on this list, Lai Guanlin has been involved in both music and acting. He was in a unit with Pentagon’s Wooseok and they released an album called 9801. He was also the male lead in Chinese drama A Little Thing Called First Love.

 

 

8. Yoon Jisung

Yoon Jisung went on to have a solo career with his releasing EP Aside. His most recent song was called “Winter Flower” and was a final gift to his fans before his military enlistment. He is currently fulfilling his military duties.

 

 

9. Hwang Minhyun

Hwang Minhyun went on to return to his original group NU’EST. The group found new massive success after the success of appearing on Produce 101 Season 2 and Minhyun’s success in Wanna One. Their most recent song is called “Love Me”.

 

 

10. Bae Jinyoung

Bae Jinyoung is now in a group called CIX, where his experience with Wanna One shows and he can give tips to his fellow members. Their most recent release is a song called ‘Numb”

 

 

11. Ha Sungwoon

Like a majority of the other members, Ha Sungwoon went on to have a solo career. He is probably the most active in terms of song releases because he’s released several singles, such as multiple OST’s. It’s unknown if he has left his original group in HOTSHOT, or if he will eventually return. His most recent release is his song “Blue”.
